If you have a course or seminar that you would like to propose presenting to our members, you may do so by submitting a Course Presentation Application. Your application will first be reviewed by the Professional Development Director for content. If the proposed course is accepted for committee review, it will be presented to the Professional Development Committee at the next meeting. The Professional Development Committee normally meets the second Tuesday of every month. You will be contacted by the Professional Development Director with the committee’s decision shortly thereafter.

If approved, your course or seminar will be added to the online calendar as well as promoted via email. SBAOR will take reservations and collect payment.

SBAOR may provide the presenter with a list of attendee names, however, email addresses and other contact information will not be provided.

IMPORTANT: Please read the entire Course Presentation Application and answer all the questions. Additional materials are required along with the application and must be submitted together. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Seminars that openly promote a particular product or service throughout the seminar, will not be approved. If your application is not approved, you may consider renting the facility for your seminar as a non-SBAOR sponsored seminar. Please see the Facility Rental section of this website for details.

If you have any questions please contact Ernie Alonzo at 310-326-3010 X706 or ernie@southbayaor.com.
