Spotlight on Community Committee
The South Bay Association of REALTORS® is more than a member organization for local real estate professionals. In addition to our continuing education opportunities and business tools for our members, we are proud to be a part of the local community. One of the ways that we show our commitment to community outreach is through the SBAOR Community Committee.
The Community Committee was created to help our members reach out to and better serve our community. There are currently more than a dozen local committee members in addition to the committee chairs and staff liaison.
The primary mission of the SBAOR Community Committee is to help our members learn about and improve the ways in which we serve the community. We do this through cooperative efforts with local South Bay elected officials and residents. By learning more about the needs of our community, our members can find ways to more effectively work with and meet the needs of residents. Likewise, the Community Committee is also dedicated to promoting a sense of community within the South Bay Association of REALTORS® membership through events and meetings that encourage engagement amongst our real estate professionals.
The SBAOR Community Committee currently meets the second Tuesday of each month at 9:30 am. More information about the committee can be found on their committee page. For additional questions about the Community Committee, what they do, or to get involved please contact our staff liaison Diane Alonso by email at email@example.com or by phone at 310-326-3010.
